Merino wool doesn't belong only on the trail.

We put the same 100% merino wool yarn we use in our hiking socks into a clean, simple everyday sock. Ultralight. No cushion. Flat and sleek under any shoe — sneakers, boots, loafers, whatever you wear to work.

In the office, merino regulates temperature so your feet don't overheat. On a commute, it wicks moisture and resists odor — wear them twice between washes and nobody knows. On a long flight or a full day walking through a new city, your feet stay dry and comfortable long after cotton would have given up.

Seamless toe closure means no rubbing. Low-profile ankle height stays out of sight.

Are these socks really 100% merino?
The yarn is 100% merino wool — that's the part that touches your feet. But no sock is made of 100% wool alone; every sock needs nylon and spandex to keep its shape and last. Our socks are up to 84% merino wool. The rest is what makes them last.
How do I wash them? Can I use the dryer?
Wash cold, inside out, and air dry. That's the whole rule. Heat is what damages wool — a hot dryer shrinks the fibers and makes them stiff over time. If you only have a dryer, use the lowest heat setting and take them out while they're still slightly damp. An occasional low-heat dry won't ruin them; doing it every week will.
Are these for everyday wear or hiking?
These are everyday socks first. They're our ultralight weight — thin enough for sneakers and casual shoes, soft enough for all day. They're not built for serious trail days, but they'll handle a light urban day hike if that's the plan.
Will they be too warm indoors?
No. Ultralight merino breathes better than you'd expect from wool. It keeps you comfortable across the temperatures you actually meet in daily life — warm rooms, cold mornings, all of it.
What if I'm between sizes?
Size up. A sock that's slightly roomy is more comfortable all day than one that's tight. The crew height sits below the calf with no bunching.
