Our super durable crew enhanced medium weight socks is our most protective, most durable hiking sock. Enhanced medium cushion wraps underfoot and around the entire leg area for 360-degree comfort, while “UHMWPE-reinforced toe and heel areas” add extreme abrasion resistance where wear hits hardest.
UHMWPE(Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene) is one of the toughest fibers in existence. Combined with our 100% merino wool body yarn, it creates a sock that feels like merino and lasts like armor.

About This Sock
"Powerful Durability" isn't a tagline. It's what we did to the heel and toe.
The heel and toe take more abuse than any other part of a hiking sock. So we reinforced both with UHMWPE - an ultra-tough fiber built to outlast standard nylon. The same material used in bulletproof vests, woven into the spots that wear through first.
Underneath the durability, this is our enhanced medium weight sock: cushion underfoot and wrapped around the entire leg. Warm enough for cold mornings. Breathable enough that you don't overheat on the climb. 100% merino wool body yarn for moisture control and odor resistance.
